Galactic Racers

Galactic Racers is an unreleased kart racing game for Xbox One. Set in a distant multiplanetary system where each planet offers an exciting and challenging environment to race on. Participants from across the cosmos descended, bringing outlandish, self-designed cars.

Led cross-functional teams to design and develop an arcade kart racer with split screen multiplayer for Xbox One.
Instituted iterative process to rapidly improve the core gameplay and track design through multiple playtest sessions.
Overhauled the existing game engine to improve vehicle system and track design tools.
Planned and coordinated the successful implementation of split-screen multiplayer features.

Constructed immersive racing environments encompassing environment design, whiteboxing, and track creation.
Defined track layouts, obstacles, checkpoints, and object placement, along with terrain height and colliders, to establish a challenging and engaging racing experience.
Developed tools to configure the vehicle physics and driving system for the design team.
Designed and implemented the track editor with automated terrain elevation system and light probes placement.
